This is a blog of my personal stamps and covers collection. I am an avid collector of postage stamps, miniature sheets, FDCs and covers addressed to me from across the world, an accumulator and hoarder of stamps. It is my attempt here to show you all of my collection in the posts that I'll add and update regularly. I hope to add more to the collection in the process, interact with you other collectors out there and share thoughts and information about anything and everything related.

Cover - Japan

One more from Japan. The cancellations that you get on these Japanese covers are really unique. This one that I received, got two stamps, both depicting Penguins. The cover was posted on 8.2.2013 and I received it yesterday.

Salvatore sent me this lovely cover from Italy. Thanks a lot Sal. Love the stamps on the cover especially the one that features 50th Anniversary of Berlucchi Wine. Beautiful clear cancellations this time too.

2009

19 Jun 2009: Rampur Raja Library, Uttar Pradesh. Complete set of 4 on FDC.

27 Jul 2009: The complete set of Jayadeva (Poet) and Geetgovinda (Sanskrit verse), 11 stamps on three FDCs. Of these stamps, there are FDCs with the complete se-tenant set of 11 stamps joined together on cover, horizontally as well as vertically. Yeah, these are really long and tall FDCs. I don't have them in my collection yet.

24 Mar 2005: Flora & Fauna of North East India. My only FDC from the year 2005. This one is among my favourites. What I like, is the cancellation on the stamps. Its got a bird perched on a branch with a flower, depicting flora and fauna beautifully.
