2010: No of Stamp Releases - 90. The Rupee symbol used for the first time on five stamps issues of the year
As you can see in the sheet below, the use of the rupee symbol was made on the Common wealth games commemoratives issued on October 3, 2010 and the Lalit Kala Academy stamp, the last issue of the year.
