This is a blog of my personal stamps and covers collection. I am an avid collector of postage stamps, miniature sheets, FDCs and covers addressed to me from across the world, an accumulator and hoarder of stamps. It is my attempt here to show you all of my collection in the posts that I'll add and update regularly. I hope to add more to the collection in the process, interact with you other collectors out there and share thoughts and information about anything and everything related.

Christmas
Christmas stamps of Canada. It was not until 1964 that Canada commenced a regular run of Christmas stamps. Until 1969, a set of 2 stamps were issued, all of which I have as you can see below. I am missing the very first Christmas stamps of Canada which are supposedly the world's first Christmas stamps too, the 1898 Mercator map stamps inscribed Xmas 1898, in my collection.
In 1970, a set of 12 stamps on Children's drawings was issued. I've left gaps for the two missing stamps from this set. There are gaps I've left for all the other missing stamps too.

Christmas - Guernsey
My christmas stamps of Guernsey. A little about Guernsey first....Guernsey is one of the three large islands from the Channel Islands. It is not part of the UK. The first christmas stamps from Guernsey were issued in 1970. Of the set of 4 churches stamps I have 3. The stamps shown below are arranged year wise although I have huge gaps to fill before I have all the christmas stamps of Guernsey.

Iran
Iran, also known as Persia is a country located in Western Asia, bordering on the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman.
Kabir / Hafiz: India - Iran joint issue of 2004. A highlight to my collection as I have the issues from both the countries. Above is the Iran issue and here's the India equivalent . One of my goals/aims is to have all the corresponding country issues from all the joint issues India has release to date.
