Burma

Burma was part of India from 1826 until April 1, 1937, when it became a self-governing unit of the British Commonwealth and received a constitution. On January 4, 1948, Burma became an independent nation. In 1990 it became the Union of Myanmar.

Holy Year (1975) - Complete set of stamps - Vatican City

Recently I made some additions to my collection of stamps of the Vatican City. This beautiful set of 11 from 1974 happens to be one of them.

30 l, Christ.
40 l, Cross surmounted by dove.
50 l, Christ enthroned.
55 l, St. Peter.
90 l, St. Paul.
100 l, St. Peter.
130 l, St. Paul.
220 l, Arms of Pope Paul VI.

Designs of 10 l, 25 l, are from St. Peter’s; 30 l, 40 l, from St. John Lateran; 50 l, 55 l, 90 l, from St.
Mary Major; 100 l, 130 l, from St. Paul outside the Walls.
