This is a blog of my personal stamps and covers collection. I am an avid collector of postage stamps, miniature sheets, FDCs and covers addressed to me from across the world, an accumulator and hoarder of stamps. It is my attempt here to show you all of my collection in the posts that I'll add and update regularly. I hope to add more to the collection in the process, interact with you other collectors out there and share thoughts and information about anything and everything related.

Cover - Armenia, Country #108
Here's another first. This one is from Armenia, thanks to a friend who also sent me a cover from Nagorno Karabakh earlier.
Formerly part of Transcaucasian Russia, Armenia became temporarily independent after the Russian revolution of 1917. From 12 March 1922, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia formed the Transcaucasian Federation. With the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991, Armenia once again became independent.
Now that I've got Armenia, Nagorno Karabakh, Georgia and Russia, high time I get one from Azerbaijan.

Steel Foil Stamps - Bhutan
Bhutan post issued a set of 12 stamps on 2nd June 1969, depicting the history of steel making. The 7 stamps from the set are a great addition to my collection of Unusual stamps. The designs of these self-adhesive stamps are lithographed on steel foil.

Near complete collection. 1987 - 2011. The missing sets are the Christmas charity stamps of 2005 and 2006. Good progress here since the last post on my Christmas stamps collection of Netherlands.
